The Order of the Aztec Eagle (Spanish: Orden Mexicana del Águila Azteca) is a state decoration awarded by the government of Mexico to non-citizens. It is considered the highest honor that the country bestows on foreign nationals.
Established in 1933, the award recognizes individuals who have rendered services to Mexico or who have contributed significantly in fields such as diplomacy, culture, science, or humanitarian efforts.
