The Mars Bar or Mars is a chocolate bar made by Mars, Incorporated. It is made of chocolate-malt nougat topped with a layer of caramel and covered with milk chocolate.
It was first manufactured in 1932 in England, and was advertised to the trade as being made with Cadbury's chocolate couverture. Mars is also sold in the United States, under the "Milky Way" name.
