Gabriel Piroird (1932–2019), French Roman Catholic Bishop of Constantine

Early life and ordination

Piroird was born in Lyon and later pursued formation for the priesthood before his ordination in 1964. His early years in ministry prepared him for leadership roles within the Roman Catholic Church.
