Duchess lorikeet (Charmosyna margarethae) is a small, brightly colored parrot in the family Psittaculidae. It belongs to the lorikeet group, a set of parrots adapted to feed largely on nectar and pollen with specialized brush-tipped tongues. The species is restricted to parts of Melanesia and is most commonly recorded on Bougainville Island (Papua New Guinea) and across islands of the Solomon Islands chain.
