Charles Dance, OBE, is an English actor, screenwriter and director known for imposing authority and villainous roles on stage and screen, notably Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones and parts in The Imitation Game.
Walter Charles Dance, OBE (born 10 October 1946) is an English actor, screenwriter and film director. Over a long career on stage and screen he has frequently been cast as imposing authority figures and is especially recognized for playing villainous roles.
