Świnoujście [ɕfʲinɔˈui̯ɕt͡ɕɛ] listen — known in German as Swinemünde — is a coastal town in north-west Poland. It has a population of roughly 42,000 (estimate from 2006) and lies within the historic region of Pomerania.
