Pioneerof the Nile was an American Thoroughbred racehorse and breeding stallion (May 5, 2006 – March 18, 2019). He is best known for finishing second in the 2009 Kentucky Derby and for his later success at stud as the sire of 2015 Triple Crown winner American Pharoah and other top-level runners.
