Marília Pêra (22 January 1943 – 5 December 2015) was a prominent Brazilian actress whose career spanned stage, television and cinema. Over more than five decades she became known for her emotional range and for portraying complex, vividly drawn women in both dramatic and comic roles. International critics recognized her work: film critic Pauline Kael listed her among the ten best actresses of the 1980s.
