Gabon national football team is the men's international association football side that represents Gabon. The team is selected by the country's football federation and competes for places in continental and global tournaments.
Major competitions
Gabon has not yet reached a final tournament of the FIFA World Cup. On the continental level, the team has appeared at the Africa Cup of Nations on several occasions, including participation in 1994, 1996, 2000, 2010, 2012, 2015 and 2017. Their performances at the Africa Cup of Nations have varied; on a number of occasions they have progressed beyond the group phase.
Home ground
Gabon plays its home fixtures at the Stade Omar Bongo in Libreville. The stadium has a capacity of approximately 41,000 spectators and is the venue for many of the country's most important international matches.
