Frederick Andermann OC OQ FRCPC (September 26, 1930 – June 16, 2019) was a Canadian neurologist. He is most noted for his research of epilepsy. He was Professor and Professor Emeritus in the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery and Pediatrics at McGill University. He helped describe Andermann syndrome, a very rare neurodegenerative genetic disorder, with his wife Eva. He was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2006. After his death, Andermann was called one of Canada's most distinguished neurologists by McGill.
