East Midlands Trains (EMT) was a train operating company in the United Kingdom. It was based in Derby and provided train services in the East Midlands and surrounding areas, mainly in the counties of South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire.

East Midlands Trains started running the East Midlands franchise in November 2007. It took over the train operating companies Midland Mainline, which operated inter-city services from London to Yorkshire, and the eastern side of Central Trains.

In 2019, the East Midlands franchise was given to a new company, East Midlands Railway, owned by Abellio. The new company took over operations in August 2019.
