As-Suwais (Arabic محافظة السويس Muhāfazat as-Suwais, DMG Muḥāfaẓat as-Suwais, Egyptian Arabic Muḥāfẓet El Suweis), also Sues or Suez, is a governorate in Egypt with a population of 510,935. It is located in the Suez Canal Zone.

It borders the governorate of al-Ismaʿiliyya to the north, the governorates of Shimal Sina and Janub Sina to the east, the governorate of al-Bahr al-ahmar to the south, and the governorates of al-Qahira and al-Jiza to the west. The administrative center is Suez.
