John Richard Easton (March 22, 1933 – December 2, 2019) was a Canadian actor. He was born in Montreal, Quebec. Easton was best known for his role as Brian Hammond in the 1970s BBC serial The Brothers. He also had television guest appearances on Doctor Who, L.A. Law, Frasier, and Ed.

In 2001, he won a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award for his role in The Invention of Love. In 2008, Easton was added into the American Theater Hall of Fame.

Easton died on December 2, 2019 of congestive heart failure at his home in Manhattan at the age of 86.
