Knots Landing was an American soap opera which began December 27, 1979 and ended May 13, 1993. It was a spin-off of Dallas. The show aired on CBS throughout its run. It was set around a fictional coastal suburb of Los Angeles and focuses on four married couples living in a cul-de-sac. By the time of the show's end, it had become one of the longest running primetime drama shows on television in the US.
