Kepler-452b is an extrasolar planet. It circles a Sun-like star Kepler-452. It was identified by the Kepler space telescope. Its discovery was publicly announced by NASA on 23 July 2015. It is about 1.7 times the size of Earth, and it is in the habitable zone of its star, so liquid water can exist on its surface.
