Animal Collective

Animal Collective is an American rock band that has been active since 1999. It originates from the New York City music scene, but has its roots in Baltimore. The band members, who all perform under pseudonyms, are David Portner (Avey Tare), Noah Lennox (Panda Bear), Brian Weitz (Geologist) and Josh Dibb (Deakin). The band is characterized by experimental pop and rock music between folk, psychedelia and electronica.
