Jerry Mathers
American actor and writer best known as Beaver Cleaver on Leave It to Beaver; later a college graduate, radio DJ, author, and public figure who has spoken about living with Type 2 diabetes.
Gerald Patrick "Jerry" Mathers (born June 2, 1948) is an American actor and author whose name is closely associated with mid-20th-century television. He achieved lasting recognition for his portrayal of Beaver Cleaver on the classic family sitcom Leave It to Beaver, a series that helped define the image of the American child actor in the 1950s and early 1960s.
