Devonté "Dev" Hynes (born 23 December 1985) is a British singer, songwriter and producer who performs under several monikers, most prominently Lightspeed Champion and Blood Orange. He was born and raised in Ilford, in London. Over two decades Hynes has moved between band projects, solo releases and production work for other artists, earning attention for his melodic songwriting and genre-crossing arrangements.
