Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein (July 11, 1951 – February 6, 2019) was an American-Israeli rabbi and philanthropist. He was born in Manhattan, New York but was raised in Ottawa, Canada. He was known as the founder and president of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, which is headquartered in Chicago and Jerusalem.
Eckstein held dual citizenship in the U.S. and Israel, having become an Israeli citizen in 2002.
Eckstein lived in Chicago and in Jerusalem. He died of a heart attack in Jerusalem on February 6, 2019, aged 67.
