Yardimli District (Yardımlı)

Geography and climate

The district lies in southeastern Azerbaijan within a zone of hills and mountains associated with the Talysh foothills and local highlands. The landscape includes steep valleys, forested slopes and riverine meadows. Coordinates for the district center are approximately 38°53′N 48°13′E, which place it in a temperate to moderately humid climatic belt with milder winters than Azerbaijan's interior lowlands.
