Thomas Fleming: American Military Historian and Historical Novelist (1927–2017)

Thomas James Fleming (July 5, 1927 – July 23, 2017) was an American military historian and historical novelist. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Career

Over the course of his career Fleming published more than forty books, composing both nonfiction studies and historical fiction. Much of his writing concentrated on the era of the American Revolution and the early United States, blending archival research with narrative storytelling.
