Stanisław Jan Konturek (8 October 1931 – 8 August 2019) was a Polish physiologist and gastroenterologist whose career combined clinical practice, teaching and laboratory research. Konturek trained as a physician and pursued academic work that linked basic physiological investigation with problems encountered in clinical gastroenterology.
