Site and development

In 2012 the main amusement park was formally combined with the adjacent Wild Safari area to create a unified entertainment complex that spans several hundred acres. This integration brought together traditional amusement-park attractions with a drive-through wildlife experience and on-foot animal exhibits, allowing visitors to move between high-speed roller coasters and safari encounters in a single visit.

Major rides and attractions

The Safari Off-Road Adventure is a centerpiece of the complex: a drive-through experience that houses over a thousand animals representing many species. It is promoted as the largest drive-through safari of its kind in North America (Safari Off-Road Adventure), allowing guests to view species from open vehicles and through guided tours. Additional animal exhibits and educational presentations are available on foot in adjacent areas.

Water park, family areas and visitor experience

Hurricane Harbor, the water-park component of the complex, occupies a substantial parcel of land and is reported to cover dozens of acres on its own (Hurricane Harbor). The overall property features dedicated children's areas—three separate playground and gentle-ride zones tailored to younger visitors—plus a mix of more than 200 rides and attractions across all park sections. Amenities include dining, entertainment shows, seasonal events and guest services focused on accessibility and safety.
