Palestine Solidarity Campaign (UK)

History

PSC was founded in 1982 during the period of international concern that accompanied Israel's invasion of Lebanon in that year, and it developed from informal solidarity networks into a more formal campaigning organisation. In 2004 it was incorporated in the United Kingdom as Palestine Solidarity Campaign Ltd, formalising its administrative structures and national presence.

Campaigns and methods

PSC runs a range of activities including public demonstrations, educational events, parliamentary briefings and cultural initiatives. It has been prominent in supporting boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) tactics as part of campaigns targeting companies, institutions or policies it regards as complicit in occupation.
