Ashwini Kumar Chopra (1956–2020)

Career and roles

Chopra held multiple public roles during his life. He worked as a newspaper editor and reporter, maintained ties to the world of sport through his earlier involvement in cricket, and later entered electoral politics. His combination of media experience and political activity made him a prominent regional figure.
