Khamis Al-Owairan Al-Dosari (Arabic: خميس العويران الدوسري) was a prominent Saudi Arabian footballer born in Riyadh on 8 September 1973. He played primarily as a midfielder during a career that spanned the 1990s and early 2000s. Al-Owairan is remembered for his regular role with two of Saudi Arabia’s leading clubs and for representing his nation at major international tournaments.

Club career

Al-Owairan spent the bulk of his playing days in the Saudi professional leagues, where he featured mainly for Al-Hilal and later for Al-Ittihad. With these clubs he competed at the highest domestic level and was part of squads that regularly challenged for league and cup honours. His club career established him as a dependable central midfielder capable of contributing in both defensive duties and the build-up of play.

International career

On the international stage, Al-Owairan was selected for the Saudi Arabia national team and took part in several major tournaments. He was a squad member at the 1996 Summer Olympics and represented his country at the 1998 FIFA World Cup and the 2002 FIFA World Cup. His presence in these competitions reflected his standing among the leading Saudi players of his generation.
