Overview
Germanwings Flight 9525 was a scheduled international passenger service operated by the Lufthansa-owned low-cost carrier Germanwings between Barcelona and Düsseldorf. On 24 March 2015 the aircraft, an Airbus A320-200, crashed in a remote area of the French Alps roughly 100 kilometres northwest of Nice.
