Singles

My Life Would Suck Without You

Prior to the album's release, the single My Life Would Suck Without You was released in late January, with which she set a new U.S. chart record, rising from #97 to #1 on the February 7, 2009 edition of the Billboard Hot 100 with 280,000 download sales in the first week of release. This improved her record by one place over Britney Spears, who had risen from number 96 to number 1 with Womanizer. For Clarkson, it was the second time she had set a new record.

I Do Not Hook Up

The second single was I Do Not Hook Up. The song was written by Katy Perry and was originally planned for her own debut album, which was not yet released at the time. The single was released on 22 May 2009 and was less successful than its predecessor.

Already Gone

On 18 September 2009, the third single Already Gone was released in Germany. The song was written by Ryan Tedder, singer of the band OneRepublic. Kelly Clarkson originally did not want to release the single because it had a great similarity to the song Halo, also written by Tedder for Beyoncé. Ryan Tedder denied accusations of this kind and stressed that they were "two completely different songs in terms of concept, melody and lyrics".

All I Ever Wanted

On March 9, 2010, the fourth single was released in the US. It reached number 96 on the Billboard Hot 100, a music video was not released for the single.
