Cuatro Torres Business Area is a modern business district on the northern stretch of Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid. Its name — Spanish for "Four Towers" — refers to the four high-rise buildings that define this part of the city skyline.

Overview

The towers were developed in the late 2000s and completed in the period surrounding 2007–2009. Together they form the tallest cluster of buildings in the city and are among the highest in Spain. Their heights vary; the tallest reaches roughly 249 metres, while the shortest is a little above 220 metres.

The towers

  • Torre de Cristal — the tallest of the group, with a roof height close to 249 m; primarily used for office space.
  • Torre Cepsa — an office tower with a height similar to the Torre de Cristal.
  • Torre PwC — a high-rise that combines offices and hospitality uses in its upper levels.
  • Torre Espacio — the lowest of the four, also occupied mostly by offices and professional services.

Role and access

Cuatro Torres Business Area functions as a commercial and corporate hub for Madrid, visible from many parts of the city and frequently cited as a contemporary landmark. It is accessible by road and public transport along the Paseo de la Castellana and is adjacent to other major business and transport nodes in northern Madrid.
