Chelyabinsk is a city in the Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia. The city is east of the Ural Mountains, on the Miass River, and on the border of Europe and Asia. The city has 1,195,446 people. As of 15 February 2013, the head of the city is Stanislav Mosharov. On February 15, 2013, a meteor hit the city.
