Freddie Prinze Jr. — American actor, producer and director

Freddie Prinze Jr. (born March 8, 1976) is an American actor, filmmaker and television producer and director. He was born in Los Angeles, California, into a family with a diverse European and Caribbean heritage: his father has German and Puerto Rican roots, while his mother has a mix of Austrian, Irish, Scottish and other European ancestry. He was raised in the Roman Catholic tradition. Early publicity often noted his family connection to a previous generation of entertainers, which helped shape public interest as his career developed.

Prinze first became widely known in the late 1990s. He appeared in popular teen and horror films that were part of a wave of youth-oriented releases of that era.
