Uche Chukwumerije (November 1939 – 19 April 2015) was a Nigerian politician who served as a senator for the Abia North Senatorial District. Elected first in 2003, he remained in the Senate until his death in 2015, serving three consecutive terms as a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). He was widely recognised as a senior voice from Abia State and a prominent figure in national debates.
