Lucas Purugganan Bersamin (born October 19, 1949) is a Filipino jurist who served as the 25th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines. His career in the judiciary included long service on the Court of Appeals and more than a decade on the Supreme Court bench. He is widely recognized for a short tenure as chief justice during a period of transition for the court.

Bersamin was appointed an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court on April 2, 2009. That appointment was made by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
