Barrie Ingham (10 February 1932 – 23 January 2015) was an English actor whose work included film, voice roles and stage performances over several decades.
Early life
Ingham was born in Halifax, in the historic West Riding of Yorkshire region of England on 10 February 1932.
Career highlights
He appeared in both screen and voice roles. Notable screen credits include:
- Alydon in the film Dr. Who and the Daleks.
- St. Clair in The Day of the Jackal.
- The speaking voice of Basil Bartholomew in Disney’s animated feature The Great Mouse Detective.

Barrie Ingham died on 23 January 2015 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He was 82, passing away less than three weeks before what would have been his 83rd birthday.
