José Francisco Walter Ormeño Arango (3 December 1926 – 4 January 2020) was a Peruvian footballer best known for his career as a goalkeeper. Born in Lima, he combined domestic and international club play with a long association with the Peru national side. His professional life spanned the 1940s through the 1960s and later moved into coaching roles in Mexico.
Club career
Ormeño began his senior career in Peru and became notable for his performances with major teams at home and abroad. He played for prominent Peruvian sides including Universitario de Deportes and Alianza Lima.
