Stephen Roy Reinhardt (March 27, 1931 – March 29, 2018) was a United States federal judge who served on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit from his appointment in 1980 until his death in 2018. He was the last active judge on the federal appeals courts to have been nominated by President Jimmy Carter.
