Overview
Stabroek is a municipality in the Belgian province of Antwerp. It combines village-scale settlements, agricultural land and residential suburbs. Stabroek occupies a compact area in northern Belgium, with a landscape of fields, small roads and built-up village centers. The position near the international border gives the town both cross-border commuter links and rural character.
History and development
Historically Stabroek developed from a small agricultural parish into a mix of residential neighborhoods and farming plots.
