Sayed Ashraful Islam (1 January 1952 – 3 January 2019) was a Bangladeshi politician. He was a member of the Awami League. He was a Member of Parliament and Minister of Public Administration of the Government of Bangladesh. Islam was Minister of Local Government and Rural Development. He was born in Mymensingh, East Bengal.
In November 2018, Islam was diagnosed with stage-4 lung cancer. He died two months later from the disease on 3 January 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand, aged 67.
