Design and display

Both models use Samsung’s Dynamic AMOLED panels with a central hole-punch front camera, HDR10+ support and thin bezels. The Note 10 has an approximately 6.3-inch display and the Note 10+ about 6.8 inches, giving the two devices distinct screen-and-handling trade-offs. Both retain a glass-and-metal construction, an IP68 dust/water resistance rating, and abandon the traditional 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Key hardware and software

Internally they offer flagship processors depending on region (Samsung Exynos or Qualcomm Snapdragon), fast UFS storage and high RAM configurations. Notable hardware differences include expandable storage via microSD on the Note 10+ (the smaller Note 10 lacks a card slot) and larger battery capacity in the Note 10+. An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and face recognition are used for biometrics. They shipped with Samsung’s One UI on top of Android and support features such as DeX desktop mode over USB-C.

Cameras and imaging

Both phones use multi-lens rear camera arrays that cover wide, ultra-wide and telephoto perspectives. The Note 10+ adds an additional depth-sensing module (Time-of-Flight) to improve portrait depth effects and 3D scanning capabilities. Video features introduced or emphasized on these models include live focus video, enhanced audio zoom (directional microphone capture) and high-resolution recording modes suitable for social and creative use.

S Pen and distinctive features

The S Pen continues to be the series’ hallmark: a Bluetooth-enabled stylus that supports handwriting, air gestures for remote camera and media control, and note-taking with screen-off memos. Wireless PowerShare (reverse wireless charging), fast wired charging, wireless charging and other convenience features reinforced the Note 10 family’s role as productivity-focused flagships.

Release, variants and legacy

The Note 10 series was announced on 7 August 2019 with staggered releases later that month. Variants included different regional SoCs and a 5G-equipped Note 10+ model in selected markets. The line is remembered for bringing the Note design to a smaller and a larger size while removing the headphone jack, and it set the stage for later Note models and the integration of S Pen features into other Samsung devices.
