Sabaragamuwa Province

Sabaragamuwa (Sinhala: සබරගමුව පළාත) is a province of Sri Lanka. It consists of the two administrative districts of Kegalle and Ratnapura. The main towns are Ratnapura and Kegalle.
Sabaragamuwa University is located in Belihuloya. It was named after the former indigenous people called Sabara, an Indian term for hunter-gatherers. The tourist attractions of the province are the Bambarakanda Waterfalls, the highest waterfalls in Sri Lanka and the 2243 meter high Sri Pada.
