Everett Lamar "Rocky" Bridges (1927–2015) was an American Major League Baseball utility infielder who played parts of 11 seasons (1951–1961), appearing for clubs including the Dodgers, Senators, Tigers and Angels.
Everett Lamar "Rocky" Bridges (August 7, 1927 – January 27, 2015) was an American professional baseball infielder known for his versatility around the infield. He spent parts of eleven seasons in Major League Baseball, appearing primarily as a utility player from 1951 through 1961.

Major league career
During his time in the majors Bridges filled in at multiple positions and played for clubs in both circuits. In the National League he was on the rosters of the Brooklyn Dodgers, the Cincinnati Reds, and the St. Louis Cardinals. In the American League he spent time with the Washington Senators, the Detroit Tigers, the Cleveland Indians, and the Los Angeles Angels.
Early life
Bridges was born and raised in Refugio, Texas. He broke into professional baseball after his youth in Texas and worked his way through the minor leagues before reaching the majors.
Personal life
He was married to his wife Mary; she predeceased him in 2008. The couple had four children.
Death
Rocky Bridges passed away on January 27, 2015, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, at the age of 87.
