Langdon is a small city in the northeastern part of Cavalier County, in the state of North Dakota, United States. It is the administrative center for the county and serves as the county seat. At the time of the 2010 census, Langdon had 1,878 residents.

History

Langdon was designated the county seat in 1884. The community completed the process of incorporation the following year, in 1885. These early milestones established Langdon as the local hub for government and services within Cavalier County.
