Kavajë District (Albania)

Geography and administration

Kavajë occupies lowland terrain between the Adriatic coast and the interior plains. Its shoreline includes sandy beaches and resort settlements that attract seasonal visitors. Administratively the district is part of Tirana County and sits within the national territory of Albania.
