Cameron Boyce

Cameron Boyce (born May 28, 1999 in Los Angeles, California; † July 6, 2019 ibid) was a US actor and child actor.

Career

Boyce had his first roles in the films Mirrors and Eagle Eye - Out of Control. He then appeared in guest roles in the television series My Sister Charlie and Liv and Maddie. Boyce also took roles in the film comedies Kindsköpfe and Kindsköpfe 2 alongside Adam Sandler and Kevin James.

Along with this, he also starred in the Disney series Jessie as Luke from 2011 to 2015. After that, he played Carlos, Cruella de Vil's son, in the Disney films Descendants, Descendants 2, and Descendants 3. Between 2015 and 2017, he starred in the Disney sitcom Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything.

Death and afterlife

Cameron Boyce died on July 6, 2019 at the age of 20 as a result of a nocturnal seizure, better known as SUDEP. He suffered from epilepsy and was undergoing medical treatment.

After his death, his cousin Taryn Dudley shared that she had worked with Boyce on a campaign against gun violence called Wielding Peace. To commemorate Boyce's charity work with various charities, his family established the non-profit organization The Cameron Boyce Foundation on July 16, 2019.

His last project before his death was producing the eight-episode streaming series Paradise City, which will be shown on Amazon Prime Video in March 2021.
