Russell Billiu Long (November 3, 1918 – May 9, 2003) was an American Democratic politician. He was the United States Senator from Louisiana from 1948 until 1987. He was chairman of the Senate Finance Committee for fifteen years from 1966 to 1981.

Long was the son of Louisiana governor and U.S. senator Huey Long. He worked during the administrations of eight U.S. presidents from Truman to Reagan.

Long died at his home in Washington, D.C. of heart failure on May 9, 2003 at the age of 84.
