Rogelio Guerra (born Hildegardo Francisco Guerra Martínez; 8 October 1936 – 28 February 2018) was a Mexican actor known for a long and varied career in cinema, television and voice work. He was born in Aguascalientes and spent much of his life working in the national entertainment industry of Mexico, achieving both popular recognition and international visibility through exported telenovelas and dubbed films.

Career and work

Guerra began acting professionally in 1957 and over the following decades amassed credits in more than 200 film and television productions. He became a familiar leading man in Mexican telenovelas and appeared in a wide range of genres, from melodrama to action. In addition to on-screen performances, he sometimes worked as a voice actor, lending his voice to Spanish-language dubs of international films; one noted example was his dubbing of the character Perry White in the Spanish version of Superman Returns.
