Freida Selena Pinto (born 18 October 1984) is an Indian actress. She was born in Mumbai. Pinto appeared in British and American movies. She starred in the 2008 movie Slumdog Millionaire. In 2011, Pinto starred in science fiction movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Before becoming an actress, Pinto was a model and television presenter.
