Alexander Imich (February 4, 1903 – June 8, 2014) PhD, was a Polish-born American chemist, parapsychologist, and supercentenarian. He was the president of the Anomalous Phenomena Research Center in New York City. He was born in Częstochowa, Poland (then a part of Russian Empire) in 1903. He was of Jewish descent.
At age 111, Imich was the world's oldest living man since the death of Arturo Licata on April 24, 2014. He was one of the few supercentenarians known for reasons other than longevity.
He died on June 8, 2014 peacefully at 9:03 AM from natural causes at the age of 111.
