Aldair Nascimento dos Santos (born 30 November 1965 in Ilhéus, Bahia) is a retired Brazilian footballer best known simply as Aldair. A specialist centre-back, he combined defensive solidity with calm ball control and spent the peak of his career in European club football while representing Brazil at the highest international level.
