2007 RW10 is a minor planet classified as a Neptune Trojan: an object that shares Neptune's orbital period and librates around one of the planet's stable Lagrangian points. It was identified in September 2007 as part of survey observations and recognized for its Trojan-like motion relative to Neptune. As such it orbits roughly 60 degrees ahead of Neptune near the L4 point.

Neptune Trojans like 2007 RW10 are captured in a 1:1 mean-motion resonance with Neptune. They follow roughly the same path around the Sun as Neptune, but remain clustered near the triangular Lagrangian regions known as L4 (leading) and L5 (trailing). Observationally these objects appear faint and move slowly across the sky, which makes detection difficult. When 2007 RW10 was reported it joined a very small population of known Neptune Trojans. Other early discoveries in this group include 2001 QR322, 2004 UP10, 2005 TN53, 2005 TO74 and 2006 RJ103.
